InstantBillMaker Official Information & Legal Transparency
Last Updated: October 2026. Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using InstantBillMaker.com (“the Website”, “the Service”, “we”, or “us”). By accessing or using any of our document generation tools, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Nature & Scope of the Service
InstantBillMaker provides free, browser-based financial document generators, including GST tax invoices, cash receipts, commercial quotations, dispatch delivery challans, purchase orders, proforma bills, and rent receipts. The Service is provided as an open utility to assist small business owners, freelancers, and individuals in structuring, formatting, and exporting standardized business paperwork.
Our tools are self-service drafting instruments. While we strive to maintain calculation accuracy and alignment with common statutory layouts, InstantBillMaker does not provide certified accounting, auditing, legal counsel, or professional tax consulting services.
2. Permitted Use & User Responsibilities
You may use InstantBillMaker for personal, commercial, and professional billing purposes. When generating documents through our tools, you agree to the following obligations:
- Accuracy of Entered Information: You are solely responsible for verifying the correctness, completeness, and legitimacy of all data you enter, including your company name, GSTIN, customer billing address, line item figures, HSN/SAC codes, and tax rates.
- Statutory Tax Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that any invoice or receipt you issue complies with the tax laws and reporting requirements of your country and state. In India, this includes adhering to the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, and related statutory rules.
- Document Retention: Because InstantBillMaker operates in your browser memory and does not save copies of your bills on our servers, you are solely responsible for downloading, saving, and archiving your generated PDF and spreadsheet files for your own accounting and audit records.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use InstantBillMaker for any unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose. Specifically, you must not:
- Generate fake or fictitious invoices to unlawfully claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) or evade taxes.
- Generate fabricated rent receipts or forge landlord signatures/PAN details for fraudulent House Rent Allowance (HRA) tax deductions.
- Use our document generators to facilitate money laundering, bribery, or black-market commercial transactions.
- Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, inject malicious scripts into, or overload our website infrastructure through denial-of-service attacks or automated scraping bots.
We reserve the right to block access from any IP address or network found engaging in abusive, illegal, or malicious activities on our servers.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All software code, visual stylesheets, interface designs, logos, typography arrangements, and editorial guides published on InstantBillMaker are the proprietary intellectual property of InstantBillMaker and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Your Generated Content Belongs to You: You retain complete, unrestricted ownership of all financial documents, PDFs, and data generated through our platform. InstantBillMaker claims no copyright, license, or ownership interest in the business documents or invoices you create.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties (“As-Is” Service)
InstantBillMaker is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and title.
While we make reasonable efforts to maintain uninterrupted uptime and mathematical precision, we do not warrant that the website will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every mobile browser or operating system.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall InstantBillMaker, its developers, operators, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Any mathematical, typographical, or tax calculation error in a generated document
- Loss of data resulting from an unexpected browser crash or closed browser tab
- Tax penalties, audit fines, or legal disputes between you and tax authorities or third-party clients
- Inability to access the service due to internet outages, server maintenance, or hardware incompatibility
